Class Logistics:

  • The 3-day Corporate Information Factory (CIF) Class takes place on 4/11-4/13.
  • The CIF Certification Testing (optional) takes place Thursday morning, 4/14

Class Fees

  • 4-day CIF Certification Class = $2,800 per student
  • For those Students that only wish to attend the 3-Day CIF Class (Mon – Wed), can attend the 3-day CIF class for $2,500 per Student.
  • Note:  Group discounts are available for 3 or more Students coming from the same Company.

The Corporate Information Factory (CIF) is a framework for how to build successful data warehouses and is an industry standard. This well-known and enduring technical architecture is a proven way to organize information systems and is in use by many corporations and governmental organizations today.

The CIF certification class is a three day class for the purpose of describing the CIF in detail. The format of the class is lecture and discussion. The class is conducted by Bill Inmon. The class is for architects, system designers, managers, data base administrators, data administrators, and developers. The class is followed by an optional 1/2 day certification test. Upon completion of the class and the test, the attendee will be a certified CIF architect and will be entitled to use those credentials on a resume.
